Reslink Solutions today launched the latest version of its NFC product aimed at software companies, system integrators and IT departments who want a rapid application development tool for creating NFC solutions. Using Reslink’s web-based tool they can create NFC solutions in minutes, customized for the end clients own particular needs and which can simply be distributed over-the-air. The solution provides proof-of-attendance and data capture facilities plus easy integration to any back-office system, allowing users to send and retrieve location-sensitive data between the phone and operational systems based upon their actual location.

Apart from the benefits obtained by users simply touching tags to retrieve job lists, task lists and other information relevant to that location, the system also provides other useful features such as identity checking and lone worker protection. The latest product, free to existing users, builds upon the core features of previous versions and adds new functionality such as “push messaging”. This allows the phone user to receive messages from base providing them with additional information and perhaps requesting a response from them – such as the time they left their last appointment if they forgot to “clock out”, or that an urgent job has come in and asking if they are able to take it.
